26 & 2 Hot Yoga
The 26 & 2 Hot Yoga is a series of 26 postures and two breathing exercises, which works the whole body in 90 minutes. The postures work synergistically and cumulatively to return the body to a balanced state. Yoga builds energy, stamina, strength and flexibility. Bikram method systematically stretches and strengthens every muscle, ligament, tendon and joint. It also helps to stimulate the organs, glands and nervous system.
26 & 2 Hot Yoga is dynamic and exhilarating. The room is heated by intention so your muscles will stretch more easily and toxins will be released through sweat. Newcomers and experienced students will enjoy the full body workout and deep relaxation of the class.
All are welcome to try this heated intermediate yoga class. It is faster paced and a step up from the classic 26 & 2 postures; adding salutations, inversions, hip openers and arm balances. Let this class unfold new strength and flexibility in your body, as well as your mind creating new ideas and structure. Keep an open mind, and we will see you on your mat.
Move With Music
This class follows all the same postures and breathing practices as the traditional 26 & 2 Hot Yoga class, but is set to soothing music to keep you engaged in your personal experience. The teacher does not give instructions, but rather provides cues as to when to switch positions. This class is 90 minutes of meditative movement and in the words of our students, “The break from dialogue gives you the chance to practice mindfulness and self determination.” Because there is no dialogue in this class, we require students take at least 20 26 & 2 Hot Yoga classes before trying Move With Music.
26 & 2 Hot Yoga – 60 Minute
All of the postures from the traditional class are used, but some are only done for one set instead of two. There are also fewer pauses between postures, so class moves more quickly and fluidly. This class really elevates your heart rate, so it is great for cardio and stretching when you may be in a time crunch.
Inferno Hot Pilates
Inferno Hot Pilates is a training system which combines Pilates principles with high intensity, low impact interval training. By keeping a strong interval workout with low impact, you are able to strengthen your body regardless of being a beginner or advanced practitioner. Inferno Hot Pilates is a great workout set to fun, upbeat music, and is performed in a room heated to 95 degrees Fahrenheit, with 40% humidity. This class is an intense, full body workout designed to strengthen muscles, increase flexibility, and improve overall health. After your first few classes you will be able to visibly notice benefits such as weight loss, muscle definition, and decreased levels of stress. In this class you will pay attention to your breath, listen to your body’s needs, and have a blast!
B3yond FIT is a high-intensity, high-impact class designed to get you a full body workout in 35 minutes! Everyone is welcome as modifications can be provided to meet your physical needs.
Yin Yoga is the newest yoga style we’ve added to our studio. It is done in a slow, meditative manner with the goal of gently stretching tissue in the body to help increase one’s range of motion, joint lubrication, and energy flow. This class also works to decrease tension and chronic pain you may be experiencing. Most poses in this series are performed seated or lying down, and held between two and five minutes. This allows for a deeper exploration of bodily tensions and connection with ourselves and bodies. This class focuses on restoring your body by taking time with each posture. For Yin Yoga classes, be sure to wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. We recommend leggings, flowy tank tops, or loose long sleeves – think loungewear.
